Primate Licence Inspection Forms
A colleague from Liverpool City Council has shared primate licence inspection forms following the Animal Welfare (Primate Licences) (England) Regulations 2024.
- Abnormal Behaviour Plan of Action
- Emergency Plans
- Feeding
- Hygiene Procedures
- Primate inspection form
- Primate Record
- Vet confirmation
- Weight Chart
With thanks to Andrew Durham from Liverpool City Council who has agreed for these forms to be distributed to IoL members.
The 2024 instrument introduced a new licensing regime under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 for the purpose of promoting the welfare of primates kept in England where they are not kept under a zoo licence or a licence under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 (relevant licences).
The licensing regime sets out minimum welfare standards that keepers of primates will need to meet.
