Deadline extended for IoL award nominations to 1 September

The Institute of Licensing has extended the nomination deadline for its three annual awards — the Jeremy Allen Award, the Charles Holland Award and the Team of the Year Award — giving members additional time to put forward outstanding colleagues and teams. Nominations will now close on 1 September, providing a longer window for the sector to recognise excellence across the profession.

The Jeremy Allen Award celebrates exceptional individual practitioners who embody the professionalism, integrity and contribution associated with Jeremy Allen, the solicitor and founding member of Poppleston Allen. The award recognises those who have made a significant impact on licensing practice and who demonstrate commitment to the wider profession.

The Charles Holland Award acknowledges excellence in licensing legal practice. Named in honour of Charles Holland, the award highlights individuals who have shown outstanding expertise, leadership and influence within licensing law, contributing meaningfully to the development and understanding of the field.

The Team of the Year Award recognises high‑performing licensing teams that demonstrate innovation, collaboration and strong service delivery. It celebrates groups who have made a notable difference to their communities or organisations through effective, professional and impactful licensing work.

Members are encouraged to use the extended deadline to nominate colleagues and teams whose work deserves recognition. Submit nominations to: awards@instituteoflicensing.org
