Licensing Hours Extensions Bill – Update
A Bill to amend the Licensing Act 2003 so that licensing hours Orders can be made by negative resolution statutory instrument.
This is a Private Members’ Bill and was presented to Parliament on Wednesday 16 October 2024 through the ballot procedure.
The Bill was published, for the first time, on the 9th of January in advance of its second reading, scheduled to take place on Friday 17 January 2025.
