Know someone deserving of recognition? Nominate them for the Jeremy Allen Award 2026

The Institute of Licensing and Poppleston Allen are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 15th Jeremy Allen Award.

Established in 2011, the award honours the life and legacy of Jeremy Allen — solicitor, founding member of Poppleston Allen, and a hugely respected figure in the licensing profession. It recognises practitioners who embody his commitment, professionalism and contribution to the field.

Nominations

The 2026 nomination window runs from 8 June to 1 August 2026.

To ensure the award reflects the sector’s collective voice, nominations must be submitted by third parties. Anyone working in licensing or a related field can put forward a deserving colleague.

Being nominated is an achievement in itself, reflecting the respect and recognition of peers for the nominee’s work and impact.

Finalists will be invited to the Institute of Licensing’s Annual Gala Dinner during the National Training Conference in November, where the winner will be announced at the Awards Presentation.

If you know someone who should be recognised, please contact info@instituteoflicensing.org and confirm that the nominee is aware and happy to be put forward.

Full details, including nomination criteria, can be found on the IoL’s website.
