IoL launches Taxi Conference 2026 with new member hub, early bird offer and free ticket draw

The Institute of Licensing has officially launched the Taxi Conference 2026, taking place on Wednesday 11 March 2026 at Walsall Town Hall, a Grade II listed venue that will host a full day of discussion, expert insight and sector‑wide collaboration.

To support the launch, the IoL has introduced a new dedicated Taxi Conference 2026 webpage, bringing all event information together in one place for members. The page includes programme details, speaker information, booking links, special offers and access to the competition draw.

Free ticket draw now open

Members can now enter the IoL’s prize draw for the chance to win either:

  • A team bundle of three conference tickets (for colleagues from the same organisation), or
  • A free individual ticket

The draw closes on 26 January 2026, with winners selected the same day.

Member early bird discount

Early Bird tickets are available to IoL members until 31 January 2026, alongside a 3‑for‑2 members’ offer allowing teams to secure additional value when booking places.

Programme and speakers

The conference will run from 09:30 to 16:30, featuring keynote sessions, chaired discussions, expert‑led panels and structured networking breaks. Topics will cover the most current and significant issues in taxi and private hire licensing, including national policy developments, safety and safeguarding, enforcement, information‑sharing, vehicle standards and the transition to greener fleets.
