IoL launches new Resources Hub and opens News Archive
The Institute of Licensing is pleased to announce two new information services on its website: a consolidated Resources Hub and a publicly accessible News Archive.
New Resources Hub now live
The Resources Hub brings together a wide range of reference materials covering key areas of licensing practice. It is designed to provide a single point of access for guidance, policy documents, case summaries, and other professional resources, including:
- Legislation Tracker – Licensing legislation that affects licensing law in the UK.
- IoL Guidance – Guidance issued by the Institute of Licensing on a range of licensing topics.
- Caselaw – Case law on licensing and related topics (currently being developed).
- Developing Legislation – New Acts affecting licensing and licensing practice.
- External Guidance – Government and other official guidance affecting licensing practice (currently being developed).
- Licensing Consultations – Information on IoL and national licensing consultations.
Some of these resources are only available to Members through the IoL’s new membership platform. Membership packages and further information are available on the IoL website.
IoL News Archive now publicly available
We are also pleased to confirm that the IoL News Archive is now live and publicly accessible, providing open access to IoL news items and wider licensing‑related updates published before September 2024.
Member forum update
We have received several enquiries from members about the IoL forum. Now that the membership system is fully operational, we have turned our attention to the forum. We expect to have it up and running within the next few weeks, including all posts from the previous forum.
Thank you to all members for your continued support and patience.
