Regulatory settlements consultation closing soon
- The Commission’s consultation on the destination of regulatory settlements closes 2 April.
- Updates are required following the introduction of the statutory levy and the transition away from GambleAware.
- Stakeholders are encouraged to submit responses before the deadline.
Gambling Act Review evaluation: Operator survey open
- NatCen has launched a survey and interview programme to support evaluation of the Gambling Act Review.
- Areas covered include financial vulnerability checks, online slots stake limits, and socially responsible incentives.
- The survey closes 10 April, and operators can also volunteer for interviews.
Operator engagement forum announced
- The fourth Operator Engagement Forum will take place 1 July in Birmingham.
- Open to licensed operators and trade bodies.
- Registration details will follow, and operators are reminded to keep primary contact details updated in eServices.
Bingo Duty to be abolished from April 2026
- As confirmed in Budget 2025, Bingo Duty will end on 1 April 2026.
- No Bingo Duty returns will be required for accounting periods starting on or after that date.
- Outstanding returns can still be submitted until April 2030.
- Gambling Commission requirements remain unchanged, and online bingo will continue to be subject to Remote Gaming Duty.

- The discussion explores how the Industry Forum brings sector insight into Commission work.

Updated digital identity guidance for casinos
- The UK Government has published new digital identity guidance to support compliance with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.
- Casinos and other regulated entities are encouraged to review the updated framework.
- Additional AML resources are available on the Commission’s website.
