South West Region
The South West Region of the Institute of Licensing covers Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Devon, Somerset, Avon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
The region has a committee of seven regional officers. The regional committee consists of a chair, director, vice chair/director, training officers, treasurer and communications officer. The region hosts up to four regional training days covering a broad range of licensing topics delivered by speakers from all sectors including local authorities, private practice, government departments and other speakers. Training session are generally held virtually, with one training session held in person.
If you are a licensing practitioner or professional living or working in the South West, you can join the Institute to become a regional member.
IoL members have access to a range of resources online, and can join their regional groups, register their interest in specific areas of licensing law via our Special Interest Groups, engage in discussions via the IoL members’ forum and more.
