Fee Proposal Date Enhanced Standard Update Service Basic
2nd December 2024 £49.50 £21.50 £16.00 £21.50
A DBS spokesperson said:
“The fee for each of the DBS ‘chargeable’ products is set at its own unit cost with the aim of full cost recovery for each product. These fees are reviewed annually to ensure they remain appropriate and deliver value for money for both the customer and the public purse.
“Over the last few years, we have been able to deliver substantial savings to our customers, through significant reductions in the fees for our Disclosure checks, and by holding the fee for our Update Service.
“Quality remains at the core of what we do in our products, in the services we provide, and in the decisions that we make. To maintain the highest quality, in an environment with growing demand for our services together with the need to modernise and replace legacy IT platforms these changes are now necessary.”
