NTC2026, the first draft programme is here

The Institute of Licensing has launched the full programme for the National Training Conference 2026, marking a major milestone as the NTC celebrates its 30th year. What began in 1997 under the Local Government Licensing Forum has grown into the UK’s leading licensing conference, now bringing together hundreds of professionals for three days of training, debate and sector‑wide collaboration.

This year’s programme, now published, showcases an expanded line‑up of expert‑led sessions, panels, workshops and keynote contributions across all areas of licensing law and practice. Delegates can explore the agenda, build their personalised schedule and follow updates through the NTC2026 event hub, which also charts three decades of venues, people and moments that have shaped the conference since its earliest days.

NTC2026 returns to Stratford‑upon‑Avon from 18 to 20 November 2026, with more than 80 speakers expected across the programme. The conference will also host the IoL’s Annual General Meeting on the Wednesday evening and a Pearl‑themed Gala Dinner and Awards Evening on the Thursday, celebrating excellence across the profession through the Jeremy Allen Award, the Charles Holland Award and the new Licensing Team of the Year Award.

With the programme now live, the IoL is encouraging members and partners to secure their place early. The early bird rate is currently available, offering reduced‑price tickets ahead of the standard rate coming into effect.

Accommodation at the Crowne Plaza Stratford‑upon‑Avon is limited, and early booking offers the best chance of securing preferred options.
