New NR3S Enhancements
The The National Anti Fraud Network (NAFN) has announced enhancements to the NR3S database.
In correspondence to licensing authorities, NAFN explained that from 3 March 2025, licensing Authorities will benefit from:
1. Matched Historical Search Alert: Get notified when a new decision matches a past search – ensuring no opportunities to make robust decisions are missed.
2. In-system Direct DPA Requests: Request key information from other licensing authorities in just a few clicks
NAFN said:
“These updates are designed to enhance public safety by enabling licensing authorities to better prevent unsuitable individuals from obtaining licenses. Additionally, the processes for accessing, requesting, and sharing crucial taxi licensing data have been simplified and accelerated. Enhanced inter-authority communication through alerts, notifications, and direct DPA requests within the system will further strengthen decision-making and collaboration.”
