Launch of new national award celebrates excellence in police licensing
The inaugural Police Licensing Excellence Award has been launched by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) in partnership with the Institute of Licensing, marking a significant new national platform to recognise outstanding contributions to licensing work across policing, local authorities, and industry.
The Police Licensing Excellence Award 2026 will be presented at the Police Licensing Conference on 19–20 May at the Leonardo Hotel, Hinckley Island.
Nominations are invited for:
- Officers, police staff members, or teams who demonstrate excellence in licensing
- Those who have made a positive impact on the night-time economy
- Those who have shown outstanding partnership working
- Those who have contributed to local or national initiatives
Deadline for nominations: 7th April
