IoL launches flagship National Training Conference 2026 with early‑bird tickets now available
The Institute of Licensing (IoL) has announced the launch of its flagship annual event, the National Training Conference (NTC) 2026, a three‑day gathering that brings together licensing professionals from across the country for expert-led learning, discussion, and networking.
An early‑bird discount is available on selected tickets until 31 July 2026.
Celebrating a landmark year, #NTC2026 marks both the IoL’s 30th Annual Conference and the 30th anniversary of the Local Government Licensing Forum, the organisation that evolved into the Institute of Licensing in 2003.
A comprehensive three‑day programme
The National Training Conference is recognised as the IoL’s signature event, offering a wide-ranging programme covering all aspects of licensing law, practice, and related fields. Delegates will be able to choose from a variety of session formats, including:
- Panel discussions
- Q&A sessions
- Plenary presentations
- Syndicate workshops
All sessions will be delivered by leading speakers representing every sector of the licensing landscape.
Residential options and early arrival
Residential delegates have the option to arrive on Tuesday afternoon, providing additional time to settle in, enjoy the hotel facilities, or explore the historic Shakespearean town of Stratford‑upon‑Avon. A relaxed dinner in the hotel restaurant will be available on Tuesday evening ahead of the formal conference opening on Wednesday morning.
Key conference highlights
- Wednesday evening: The IoL will hold its Annual General Meeting, open to all IoL members. A formal Notice of AGM will be issued separately.
- Thursday evening: Delegates are invited to the Gala Dinner and Awards Evening, themed around Pearl to mark the organisation’s 30‑year milestone.
The IoL expressed its enthusiasm for the upcoming event, noting that it looks forward to welcoming delegates, speakers, and sponsors to what promises to be a memorable anniversary year.
