The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a General Licensing Officer to join the General Licensing Team at Oxford City Council.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out daily duties associated with the licensing of:
- Taxis & Private Hire
- Alcohol, Entertainment & Late-Night refreshment
- Sex Establishments
- Scrap Metal
- Gambling
- Road Closures for Events & Street Parties
To deliver the objectives of the Licensing Authority to uphold the needs of local businesses and communities and to promote Oxford as a world-class city offering a safe, modern and vibrant licensed trade, you will be self-motivated, adaptable and flexible in your approach to work. You will work with a range of systems and processes to manage your own daily workload, ensuring the timely completion of tasks within statutory deadlines.
