The Institute of Licensing’s (IoL) regular publications include the Journal of Licensing (JoL) and the Link Magazine. 

The JoL was first published in November 2011 and is now published three times a year. It provides articles on topical issues and important cases.  It is distributed free to institute individual members and organisational members. 

The LINK (Licensing, Information, Knowledge & News) magazine was introduced in October 2018 and is now published three – four times a year.

In addition, the IoL has published three books on Local Government Licensing Law in Scotland, Sex Establishment Licensing and Gambling for Local Authorities.
