The Scottish Government have published their analysis of the responses received to their recent consultation on the potential future licensing of a range of animal-related activities \u2013 which shows there is overwhelming public support for regulation to be introduced.<\/p>\n
According to the analysis, there was majority support (89.1%) for the introduction of a licensing scheme for commercial dog walkers, majority support (82.2%) for the introduction of a licensing scheme for dog groomers, and support for legislation regarding animal boarding to be updated.<\/p>\n
Stuart McMillan MSP first raised the need for improved regulation.Commenting, Stuart said:<\/p>\n
