Welsh Government Consultation: Pet sales licensing regulations – local authority guidance

The Welsh Government are consulting on proposed regulations under the new Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (Wales) Regulations 2021.
The consultation seeks your view on a number of issues including whether the guidance:
- provides enough information to assess applications and carry out inspections
- defines rehoming centres sufficiently to ensure they can continue rehoming puppies and kittens not bred on the premises.
- sufficiently relates to species specific conditions to ensure welfare.
