Pedicabs (London) Bill set to receive Royal Assent Published Date: 21/04/2024

The Pedicabs (London) Bill returned from the Lords on Tuesday 26 March with no amendments.

The Bill would make provision for Transport for London (TfL) to be able to regulate pedicabs
in London, for the first time.  This Bill extends to England and Wales but only applies in England to pedicabs operated within Greater London.

As both Houses have agreed on the text of the bill it now waits for the final stage of Royal Assent when the bill will become an Act of Parliament.

A date for Royal Assent has yet to be scheduled.
