The team at Defra are gathering information to inform this work and would be keen to hear from councils about any challenges you anticipate around the introduction of a primate licensing scheme, the details of any local primate keepers who may talk to Defra, and information about any new primate species you have given Dangerous Wild Animal licenses for in the past two years.
