Senior Administrator / Executive Assistant - Institute of Licensing Closing Date: 05/06/2023

An exciting opportunity to join our small but dedicated team working to provide membership services, training and events to licensing practitioners across the UK.  The position will suit someone with excellent communication and organisation skills, who is accustomed to working from home within remote team.

Job Information

  • Starting salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Full-time (37 hours per week)
  • 24 days annual leave per annum
  • Home working position with occasional travel as necessary

 

Job Duties / Key Responsibilities

  • Complex diary management, both business and personal, for the Executive Officer (EO) and wider team.
  • Administrative support for various internal and stakeholder meetings, including organising meetings, booking venues, ordering refreshments, recording attendance, and taking and preparing agendas and meeting minutes / briefing notes.
  • Administrative support for email management.
  • Ensuring efficient and effective customer communications including email and telephone.
  • Management of miscellaneous issues on behalf of the Executive Officer and wider team.
  • Preparation of reports and editing of documents including reports and presentations.
  • Online management of document filing systems.
  • Attendance at meetings, workshops and conferences when required.
  • Provision of administrative support for the wider team as required.
  • Handling confidential matters with discretion.

 

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Ideally educated to A-Level standard or equivalent (level 3).
  • Prior office management experience.
  • Proven diary management skills with strong prioritisation and organisation skills.
  • Exceptional standard of written and verbal English and strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility of working hours and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work without supervision, working from home with occasional travel as necessary.
