As a Licensing Enforcement/Technical Officer you will be based in the Safer Communities Service at the Civic Centre, Harrogate.
You will work in the Food, Licensing and Occupational Safety Team who cover a wide range of service areas including; food safety, infectious disease, health and safety, accidents, licensing, taxis, animal welfare and Covid 19 enforcement and advice.
You will be responsible for licensing inspections, investigating complaints about licensing issues in all types of licenced premises and taxis; processing applications and assisting with policy reviews.
It is essential that you have knowledge and experience of working in a licencing and have experience of using the full range of enforcement options.
The Council operates a flexible working policy and there is opportunity for some agile/home working subject to approval.
