The Role
Our Licensing team plays a vital role in managing over 1,700 licences, permits, and consents, covering areas such as Hackney Carriage and Private Hire vehicles, drivers, operators, street trading, and pavement licensing.

We are seeking an enthusiastic part time Licensing Technical Officer to join our small but highly experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills who can confidently prioritise a varied workload.

In this role, you’ll assist with processing applications, respond to customer enquiries by phone, and contribute to the smooth running of our licensing services. We’ll also support you in working towards your Professional Licensing Practitioners qualification, helping you develop your career in this specialist field.

The intention is for the postholder to work predominantly in the office with occasional homeworking.
