10.20 "Wakefield case and licensing fees - Ben Williams, Kings Chambers
Presentation/discussion of the recent case involving Wakefield Council where, among other things, the High Court ruled that against any suggestion that there is a general principle of law that licensing regimes should be self-financing.

11.20 Break

11.40 Ola - Fionn Hart, Ola Chief of Staff
A presentation by Ola on the expansion into the South West, the means of operating and other related matters.

13.15 Gambling Update - Ewen Macgregor, Head of Regulatory & Licensing, Gregg Latchams

An overview of current and up and coming changes to gambling legislation.

14.15 Taxi/PH enforcement and prosecutions - Jason Agar, Milton Keynes Council
A practical session led by Jason Agar, Senior Licensing Enforcement Officer at Milton Keynes Council, on their approach to taxi enforcement and prosecutions in the town – many of which are reported by the IoL

15.30 Festival Licensing – Jason Kirkwood, Mendip Council
An insight into what makes the Glastonbury Festival unique. Show how diverse and disparate bodies are successful working together in Licensing and Planning the event. Questions and discuss lessons learnt elsewhere.
