This event takes place in Burnley Town Hall on 4th March 2020. There are an increasing number of people in the UK indulging in all four areas of skin piercing activity. Tattoo’s, cosmetic piercing, electrolysis and acupuncture. In addition new fashion trends have seen a whole set of new procedures such as micro blading and micro pigmentation.All four areas of skin piercing pose a potential risk of infection and across the UK, there has been a reported* steady rise in infection associated with tattooing and skin piercing and in addition there has been a reported* rise in allergic reactions.Skin Piercing legislation differs across the UK as does the registration system. To keep up to speed with the new trends, caselaw and methodology, the Institute of Licensing has updated this course to consolidate best practice and include new advice and explain the current trends found in many salons and parlours across England and Wales.
