DEFRA issue taxi air quality reporting guidance Published Date: 18/07/2019

DEFRA has issued guidance to licensing authorities proving advice on compliance with the new taxi air quality reporting regulations.

The guidance
that has been published on gov.uk has been published to assist licensing authorities with the implementation of The Air Quality (Taxi and Private Hire Vehicles Database) (England and Wales) Regulations 2019.  

DEFRA indicated that the guidance contains at Annex A draft technical specifications for API and CSV upload processes. All licensing authorities will need to complete ASAP the MoU at Annex B and return to TaxiandPHVCentralised.Database@defra.gov.uk.

It said DEFRA envisaged that data upload from licensing authorities will start from the end of October.
